RidgeView Place is an 11-storey, 90-unit residential complex with ground floor commercial space in the 2700-block of Claude Road in downtown Langford on Victoria's West Shore.
The building was formerly called Danbrook One with an address at 2766 Claude Road.

The building owner, Centurion Apartment Properties, launched a lawsuit in 2020 against the seller, builder, structural engineer and the City of Langford. Last month, it added the lead engineer for the remedial design.

By the time the lawsuits get settled and they finally get around to demolishing this place it will have stood for about as long as its expected lifespan. Heck, if it was government-run housing it would already be due for replacement.
^ So they should. Every one that has (had) initials behind their name should be held accountable. Not sure about municipal employees. Their job is to make sure the professionals file the appropriate Schedules. (read documentation).
I think that is the argument - that municipal employees (allegedly) issued an occupancy permit without the appropriate documentation in place and then didn't disclose the fact that there was an investigation underway.
As an aside, if you know anyone in the development community ask them about this project. Info seems to be widely available.
