The Scene is a proposal for two highrise residential towers of 24 and 18-storeys along the 2700-block of Scafe Road in the City of Langford on Victoria's West Shore.

They are over 75% sold and have met their presale requirements to secure construction financing. I also find it very odd that there has been zero attempt to sell the remaining units whatsoever in the past 2 years.
I think I saw this plot line on parks and rec.
You mean you've Scene it before?
One might get the impression that they're trying not to make a Scene.
Which is ironic, because one way or another you just knew this project was going to turn into a big Scene.
If construction of the towers isn't allowed to proceed then would we say the municipality stole every Scene?
Despite all the troubles, my friend Archie remains a staunch advocate of this project. That's why I call him Pro-Scene-ium Arch.
Ghost forum reader here since like 2011. lol. Thanks for keeping me informed and entertained Vibrant Victoria forumers. Drove by this yesterday, site trailer has been removed. pretty safe to say for one reason or another that this development is most likely dead in the water like all other highrise developments in the Westshore dating back 20 years(excluding bear mountain).

Hi!
You know, what's interesting, is that I was told that the project had secured its financing, and in the midst of that, the City of Langford announced the shoring of the site was insecure.
Who knows how this will proceed now, but the outside date has got to be coming up pretty quickly.
My outside passed earlier this spring and I have communicate my request for the contract to be canceled.
They have told me i am not the only one pursuing this currently.
